Do you like this one better? The first photo shows the whole wall, but obviously its not a perfect layout so i cropped it. I have enough white to do this.
I dreamed about this quilt last night. I can't get my own projects done but apparently, I can dream about other people's projects :0). I love the added white for two reasons. One, it's not as busy as the stripes. Two, it really makes the middle panel pop and also, it doesn't take away from the gnomes. Just my opinion. I'm sure whatever you decide, it's going to be beautiful. I love this quilt!
I think that looks great, it draws your eye towards the pieced strip, and it doesn't over power the sweet gnomes. Its much more soothing than with the stripes.
I like the solid white better than the stripes, but still prefer straight gnomes if possible. Call me a gnome-purist ;)
